Today, Go Be Great!
OUR WHY
We started Today, Go Be Great, as a way to spread love, joy, and to bring programming to our community for youth, young adults, and families. We want this to be an avenue where people share experiences and motivate others to pursue their passions. We have struggled with self-doubt and fear for years, that we live in our own bubble; so we decided to take a leap of faith to create a space for families, youth, and young adults, to grow and uplift each other, TOGETHER!
Our Approach
Our approach is simple, we believe in the power of community; therefore, we strive to create opportunities for youth, young adults, and families TO BE GREAT by coming together! We believe that success is about more than just setting goals and working hard individually, but it is also about the collective mindset, cultural awareness, and balancing all areas of your life and lifestyle.
Our Belief
Despite what we see and hear via the news or social media concerning numerous horrible tragedies and untimely deaths, that is not the whole story.
LIFE IS PRECIOUS!
Keep your head held high and continue to have high, lofty, and grand expectations. Do not become indifferent to the state of the city you live. While there will be times of great loss and sadness, our community has been here before. Our predecessors made it and we will too. There are many great days ahead for this community. Do not live in fear.
THERE IS STILL HOPE in this year and going forward. There are a lot of great people in the world. Keep striving forward and let us encourage one another to continue to have magnificent events, strong communities, and be the best we can be for the sake of our children and the community.
